London

So we are in London! Got in yesterday, checked into the apartment, went and had some fish and chips and ale, came back to the apartment and promptly fell asleep (4:30 pm local time)! Woke up in time to watch the Spain/Portugal game, then slept until 5:40 this morning. We were tired.

 So breakfast was had at the local Starbucks two blocks from here. Came back to the apartment and met a lovely couple from Sydney staying one floor below us. They too were amazed at just how small these apartments are. Will post some pictures on that later. Today is the British Museum. Must see the Elgin Marbles, Rosetta Stone, and Magna Carta. Turns out we are walking distance from it. Must also go back to Kings Cross station and take pictures at Platform 9 3/4. Maybe I can get a job teaching at Hogwarts - many of my students are positive that I'm at witch (possibly spelled differently).

 Tonight is the Germany/Italy game. There are several pubs nearby that will be showing it, so we must choose a spot to drink ale and watch the game. And it doesn't matter is we sleep in tomorrow since nothing we want to see opens before 10 am anyway. Hope all is well with everyone. Will post daily to every other day while we are gone. Laters.
