Is it over yet?

This summer does not rank as one of the best I've ever had.  Working around the house to get it sold, cleaning out 16 years of crap, driving to and from the Bay Area to find housing and get settled there...I'm tired.  I'm ready for it to end.

I am excited to start my new job - I'll be teaching Seniors and sophomores at South City.  I've already met a few of my colleagues - very nice.  I'm happy to be part of that team.  It'll take me a little while to get everything ready - but I have lots of stuff to put up in my room and onto bookshelves - something to look forward to.  

I also need to sell a few things - bookshelves, electronics, old furniture.  I'm trying out craigslist for the first time.  Not overly impressed yet - but we'll see.

Hope everyone else is having a better summer - it's 108 today here in Redding.  I cannot truthfully say I'll miss that.  I'm off to the Bay tomorrow to move into a one bedroom apartment.  Lee and I will let everyone know the new, temporary address - the townhouse won't be ready until November, so we're in Palo Alto until then - after that our address is San Francisco.  Should be interesting.
