Guess I should explain that title. I tried to upload some images for you all to look at and blogger wouldn't let me do it from my iPad. So, I will put them on my Facebook page for now.
Now, have I mentioned that I love history, especially British history? I don't mean the last hundred or so years but the last millennium. So the British Museum yesterday was truly fascinating. I really like the Ancient Greeks too, so all the 'marbles' at the Brit were amazing! Five hours there and we saw a small portion.
Then we walked. And the skies were blue yesterday...about 80 degrees and sunny. And 80% humidity.
After watching traffic around here, I would never drive in London! Taxi drivers a like taxi drivers everywhere...a bit nuts! Between buses, taxis, trains and the underground, why would anyone in their right mind try to drive in London? It's a rhetorical question since the answer is NO ONE!
Today we are heading to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, then to the Tower of London. Tonight we have tickets for "Taming of the Shrew" at Shakespeare's Globe. The weather today is a little cooler. Might actually have to wear jeans instead of shorts. I might even need a jacket today.
Must get going. The day awaits. Latters.
