Back Home and Editing

After a 10 hour flight, we arrived home yesterday at 4 pm PDT.  Then we had to deal with the worst customs agent ever - for every three people the other agents were clearing, she cleared one.  And she was the only agent assigned to our line.  Frustrating!

Our last day in London included a trip to Hampton Court to see how Henry VIII lived.  Not only was Henry large, he lived large.  Holy crap!  It was good to be king.  The palace is amazing - and a big "thank you" to Diane Elrick for the suggestion to go there!

Not only was the castle beautiful - the weather was too!  It was supposed to rain all day Sunday, but instead it rained all night Saturday and was sunny Sunday.  After touring Hampton Court we sat outside across the street and had a very late lunch before returning to London proper.

We had a relaxing last evening in London, preparing to leave to return home.  Got up early the next morning and headed to St. Pancras station for breakfast at a little boulangerie we found there.  What a lovely place the station is - architecturally speaking.  From there we headed to Heathrow and our Virgin flight home. It was a wonderful vacation.

As soon as I can, I'll upload some more pictures and make note of them on my facebook page so you'll all know they've been uploaded.

Now, back to work.  Must get ready for classes  - oh, and for Newport Beach.  One more vacation coming up in 2 weeks.
