Happy Fourth of July

For all of you back home, Happy 4th.  We crossed into Canada at 1 pm today - got to the condo we are renting in downtown Vancouver about 2.  It really is in the heart of the city.  We've walked around, done a bit of shopping, sat outside and had cold beer and great food.  This is truly a busy city.  Lots of people and interesting cars to watch.

So, 3 days on the road got us an argument with a motel manager and one cracked windshield.  Yes, today a motorist passing us flipped up a rock and it cracked our windshield.  It'll probably be all the way across by the time we get home.  Just another souvenir.  However, tomorrow looks fun - Lee is going geocaching in the morning while I sleep in.  Then, I am off to scout around the area.  Maybe we can take in a movie - unlike Redding, they have real theatres with arena seating in them here - so, time to take in one or two.

Other than the crack in the windshield, not an exciting day.  Glad to not have to get up and drive for hours again tomorrow - that's something to look forward to.  Hope everyone is well.  Until tomorrow night, hope everyone's fourth is "safe and sane."
